About Balavihar (Age 11 to 15) Class:
This is commonly referred as Pre-CHYK (CHinmaya Yuva Kendra). It is a good bridge between a Balavihar class & a CHYK class. A Pre-CHYK Class is for children in the age group 11 to 15 years. It is a forum where children get to learn all the aspects covered in a Balavihar Class viz. stotra chanting, bhajans, stories, games etc. plus a text/commentary written by one of our Swamijis is taken up for discussion & detailed study. This helps to retain the interest of the older children who are capable of thinking with an open mind. It is a graduation from Balavihar & a beautiful transition to CHYK.
